ブランド名「cipcip」の由来である「cip（チプ）」（アイヌ語で「舟」という意味）は、一本の木をくり抜いてつくられる丸木舟のこと。その丸木舟に着想を得て、舟の形をモチーフにしたエレメントを設定。ブランドのアイコンとしました。ロゴタイプは、このエレメントを組み合わせてオリジナルで設計。基本色としてゴールドを設定し、ブランドの主な製品であるアクセサリー類の金属感を表現しました。ブランド名が持つやわらかい響きをより印象付けるため、リズミカルなポップさと上品な雰囲気をあわせ持ったロゴタイプに仕上げました。
“cip”, which is the derivation of the brand name “cipcip”, means a canoe hollowed from a tree in Ainu language. On the basis of that, the element which is also a brand icon was created with a canoe motif. The logotype was designed by combining the element. The gold color of logotype represent jewelry, main products of the brand. The rhythmical and also elegant design of logotype impresses the soft sound of the brand name.
